Can you tell us a bit about your role?

I am the Quality Coordinator for the UK, it is my role to make sure all the departments in the UK have everything they need in order to do their job properly and efficiently. This could mean delivering training or reviewing various documents before they are published.

What does quality mean for ABAX?

Quality is extremely important for ABAX. We want our customers to receive the very best. It is important to remember that we are an international corporation and therefore we have certain quality standards (ISO 9001 / 14001 / 27001) we need to adhere to in each country.

Additionally, quality is also important internally; right now, I am currently working on re-developing our extensive internal quality system which I am proud to be a part of.

What do you like best about working at ABAX?

When someone asks me this question I respond with the ‘3ps’ – People, Product, Potential.

People: The people I work with daily are awesome, we have great working relationships here at ABAX and it makes it a great environment to work within.

Product: I am very passionate about the products ABAX offer and truly believe they are world leading. Part of this is because we do all our research and development in house so this allows us to be at the cutting edge.

Potential: To me this means both personally and for the company. Being involved in a company that last year only had 15 employees in the UK and is now at 50, is a very good sign. ABAX key word for the year was ‘growth’, so seeing us expand into China was an extremely exciting time. I can’t wait to see what happens in the future.
